A high-performance poker preflop solver.
SolveSpot is a Rust engine that computes game-theory equilibrium strategies for poker preflop spots, and scales the work across cloud Spot instances.
Get in touchWhat it does
Preflop decisions in poker are a game-theory problem: each action depends on the ranges and frequencies of every other player. SolveSpot solves these spots numerically and produces equilibrium strategy tables that players and coaches can study.
Equilibrium solving
Iterative optimization toward game-theory equilibrium strategies for defined preflop spots.
Batch workloads
Many independent spots can be solved side by side instead of one at a time.
Study output
Results are strategy and frequency tables intended for analysis and training.
How it works
The solver core is written in Rust and uses multi-threaded optimization to make full use of each machine. Solve jobs run as parallel batch workloads on AWS EC2 Spot instances, which keeps compute cost low for heavy numerical work.
